Closure of Artemis Funds (Lux) – US Absolute Return fund

At Artemis, we regularly review the funds across our range to ensure we are offering appropriate products to our investors.

The Board of Artemis Funds (Lux) took the decision to liquidate Artemis Funds (Lux) – US Absolute Return fund (the “Fund”). The effective date of the liquidation was 12 July 2021.

As detailed in the notice to shareholders, given the size of the Fund (the assets under management of the Fund are $19.22m USD as at 31 May 2021), an assessment was undertaken on the ongoing viability of the Fund and its future prospects, in terms of increasing size and scale through gaining new investors.

Having considered a number of options, we concluded that there are no suitable options for maintaining the Fund and closing the Fund is therefore in the best interests of investors. The effective date of the liquidation was 12 July 2021.

Redemption, subscription and switching requests

The Fund was closed to redemptions and subscriptions with effect from 13:00 CET on 2 July 2021. Switching requests received and accepted until 13:00 CET on 9 July 2021 were executed on 12 July 2021.
